Basic Education Schools to start student enrollment in May

State basic education schools in Myanmar will start student enrollment next month for the academic year 2013-14 and they will open in the first week of June.

The School Enrolling Week of May will be designated for enrolling students at state schools throughout the whole country.

Existing students' enrolment will be accepted on May 18 and 19, Headmaster Aung Ko of Basic Education High School No. (1) Dagon said.

For Grade-1students who will start schooling this year, the application forms of school will need to be filled.

There are a total of 52,161 basic education schools in the entire Myanmar, according to the statistics.
