Myanmar hospital joins hand with Singapore's Parkway

Singapore's Parkway Hospital has signed a MoU with Myanmar's Zabuthiri Specialist Hospital yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw, the official capital of Myanmar, to work together for medical services in both countries.
Zabuthiri Specialist Hospital, located in the capital, will provide low-cost but high-standard medical services for the people in Myanmar as part of the joint-venture with the Parkway, according to officials from the hospital.
After the signing ceremony, specialists from both sides have seen and checked the patients attending at Zabuthiri for free of charges.
Parkway Health owns sixteen hospitals, including three private hospitals in Singapore. It also has a network of regional hospitals in Malaysia, India and Brunei.
Zabuthiri was opened in May 2012. It was owned by Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee, according to sources.
