A blast blew up a motorcycle parked in front of a warehouse in Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Region yesterday afternoon injuring three people, according to police sources.
The motorcycle was parked in front of Nay Min warehouse which stores wheat, corn, bean and sesame. The blast left a cadet, an army sergeant and one shop owner with minor injuries leading some to suspect a possible bomb plot.
"We are inspecting the case but we can't exactly tell that the blast came from the motorcycle. The cycle is made from China and the blast may be wire shock conducting with petrol. As many assume, it may be the bomb plot. We are still examining the incident," said Police Colonel Soe Nyein, from Mandalay region police explained on MRTV news yesterday.
