At one event held in an industrial park in Ayutthaya, an estimated 31m methamphetamine tablets, nearly 300kg of crystal meth and 125kg of heroin were destroyed.
Officials said the estimated street value was about $320m, and that the drugs came from more than 2,500 drug seizures by Thai authorities.
In Burma, officials torched $76m worth of drugs, including a half tonne of opium and heroin and more than 800,000 pills.
The events were staged in observance of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime's (UNODC) World Drug Day.
"Increases in seizures and use of opiates and methamphetamine throughout Southeast Asia – and the diversification of smuggling routes – indicate the drug economy is growing," UNODC official Jeremy Douglas said in Bangkok.
