Vietnam to play Myanmar in football friendly









The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has accepted an invitation to play Myanmar's U-23 football squad in a friendly match in Yangon on October 15 in preparation for the upcoming SouthEast Asian Games.


Myanmar U-23 team has already played Vietnam away on June 11 and is planning more international friendly matches to train for the SEA Games which will be hosted in Myanmar in December.


Myanmar has played Vietnam twice at 2011 SEA Games in Indonesia. They dew 0-0 in the group stages but Myanmar went on to beat them 4-1 to reach third place in the tournament.


Myanmar's squad is planning to train with South Korea before SEA Games and will play friendly match with Hong Kong in Thuwana Youth Training Stadium on September 6.
