GERMAN FIRM PROVIDES TEACHING AIDS TO YATANARPON CYBER CITY

A German industrial firm provided Yatanarpon Cyber City in PyinOoLwin Township in Mandalay, the second largest city in Myanmar, with teaching aids in a ceremony held in Nay Pyi Taw on September 29, according to the Voice report.


The donation was made through Festo Didactic's local partner Sea Lion.


The company also sponsored a Symposium on Education and Training for the Future and Workshop on Industrial Automation on September 28-29.


The Yatanarpon Cyber City was establish on October 17, 2011, and one of the biggest academic campuses for engineering education.


It is offering courses for information and communications technology, electronic engineering, advanced materials engineering and precision engineering.
