The parliament has approved the telecom bill for the second time after discussing the presidential remarks at the parliamentary session Friday, according to the state media report.
The law is now with the president and expected to sign soon to promulgate.
Four recommendations of the president were discussed by the parliament and two amendment proposals by the president were approved.
The law has been on the top of the agenda of the parliament.
The parliament also debated on two other legislations on protection and promotion of the interests of the farmers and the judiciary and approved them.
They are now with the president waiting for the signature.
Deputy science and technology minister Dr Ba Shwe submitted the Standardization Bill at the parliament.
The law features 31 provisions and various sectors such as manufacturing, exports, health and environmental conservation.
