Waseda University based in Japanese city of Tokyo offered special
scholarships for post-graduate and doctorate courses for Myanmar
students, the Voice reported.
The courses offered by the university include five-year courses for
post-graduate studies and three-year doctorate studies.
Applications are invited for admissions in 2014 September and 2015 April.
The courses offered to Myanmar students include Political Science,
Economics, Social Science, Sport Science, Fundamental Science and
Engineering, Asia-Pacific Studies, Environmental and Energy
Engineering.
Some levels in English and Japanese language skills are required.
The university established since 1882 was the top 13th university in Japan.
A number of Japanese universities are establishing connectivity with
the universities in Myanmar, refreshing and initiating MoUs.
