Border Guard Bangladesh arrested three Myanmar citizens with 19,412 Yaba tablets in bordering Nityangpara of Teknaf upazila in Cox's Bazar Thursday night.
Raiding a boat in the river Naf, BGB also held 21 other Myanmar nationals for illegally entering the country's territory.
Abeda Begum, 60, wife of late Abdul Hye; Hazera Begum, 40, wife of late Hossain Ahmed; and Mohammad Anis, 24, son of late Md Yunus, were held with the Yaba kept in 23 packets.
A case was filed against them with Teknaf Police Station.
Maj Md Nazmus Sadat Soumya, deputy commander of BGB-42 battalion, said information that a contingent of Yaba was coming to Bangladesh the BGB team conducted the drive.
The border guards caught all the 24 in the wooden boat. Sending back of the other 21 was under process, Sadat said.
