Importers of banned fertilizers to face action

Authorities have threatned to take actions against importers of banned fertilizers regardless of the claim that they were doing to help satisfy demand of local markets.
Officials said they have identified seven companies that have been transporting the banned fertilizers through the Myawady border trade center and threatened to take legal action should they do not halt their activities.
"Goods are inspected manually," he added.
The seven brands of banned fertilizers are; Gold Bloom, Hper Bloom, Mamigro, Comet Plus, Super N, Sunray, and (M) Calone.
Other items are also imported via Myawady border trade center, X-Rays machine and scales are still needed.
