Vice-President meets Thailand former Prime Minister

Myanmar Vice-President Dr. Sai Mauk Kham received Thailand's former Prime Minister General Chavalit Yongchaiyudh at the credential hall of Presidential Palace in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday, the state-owned media reported.


At the meeting, they discussed matters related to rural development programmes and investment sectors for upgrading of socio-economic life of the people.


On the meeting was deputy foreign minister Thant Kyaw, deputy commerce minister Dr. Pwint Hsan, the director-general of union government's office Zaw Than and officials from the President's office.


Recently, Vice-President Nyan Tun also met with Dr. Kurt Campbell, the Former Assistant Foreign Minister of the United States, who is currently the chief executive officer from the Asia Group in Nay Pyi Taw on April 29.
