Myanmar sports team will participate in "4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in South Korea's Incheon during June 29 to July 6, an official from the Ministry of Sports said.
Member 45 countries of Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) will participate in the games and a total of 100 gold medals will be awarded.
Myanmar will also compete in billiard, Muay (traditional kick boxing) and chess events.
The Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games usually holds every two years and the first event started in Bangkok, Thailand in 2005 and the second event was held at Macao in 2007 and the third in Hanoi of Vietnam in 2009.
Although the fourth event has been planned to hold in Doha of Qatar, the country cancelled the last edition of Asian Indoor Games in 2011.
However, Incheon was chosen as a replacement instead by OCA. This event will also act as a test event and a prelude to the 2014 Asian Games.
