Singapore-based SingTel has promised to provide mobile services covering 95 percent of Myanmar population within first 36 months, according to the company chief.
It has established partnership with local Kanbawza consortium and M-Tel for telecommunications services in the almost untapped market.
The company is one of the 11 firms to enter the final round of bids for two telecom licenses in Myanmar.
The successful bidders will be announced by Myanmar government on June 27.
