A ceremony marking the 25th anniversary of the 8 August 1988 uprising led by students, to be know later as Four 8s, Was organized by Bangkok - based Thai Action Committee for Democracy in Burma (TACDB) on Sunday.
It was joined by more than 100 young people and well wishers.
It is estimated that around 3000 people were kill by the police and the military during the period, according to TACDB president Dr Laddawan Tanthvidyapitak.
