MYANMAR’S HUGE MAN BOUND FOR SINGAPORE FOR TREATMENT

A Myanmar man Win Zaw Oo, 35, from Htonepaukchai village in Natmauk Township in Magway Region who has suffered from an extraordinary body growth left Yangon for surgery in Singapore Thursday.



The 7-foot-and-10-inch man was accompanied by Dr Khin Lay Yi, wife of liver specialist Dr Khin Maung Win, Dr Myat Thu Min, Dr Thet Htar Khin, Ma Nyein Nyein and his brother-in-law Ko Ye Thura, Myanma Alinn reported.



MRTV-4, Eleven Media Group and Mandalay Media also took the same Golden Myanmar Airlines flight to cover the news.



Dr Ang Beng Ti, the neurologist of Singapore Seneral Hospital, will oversee the treatment of the huge man and Dr Khin Lay Yi, Dr Thet Htar Khin and Ma Nyein Nyein will care him intensively. The information team will provide press release about updates on the treatment.



After the mention as an extraordinary man in the state-run Myanma Alinn newspaper, his story went viral on Facebook and caught up attention of the medical professionals who identified it to be a disease and called for aids to help him overcome it.
