Nagas are tribal mountaineers of Mongoloid race. From mountain to mountain it is occupied by different tribes with different dialects. But Nagas are one by custom and culture. Just like China, Burma or India, Nagaland is a Nation. Universal law-I states that no nation on earth exist without a concrete geographical land. But yes till today Nagas are not having a separate membership in United Nations. But for that date and time it belongs to Almighty God alone. Naga Christians let us refer to the Holy Bible Micah 4: 1. In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as the higher of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills and peoples will stream to it. It was on 19th July 1947 when the Naga leaders approached Delhi for Naga Independence, Mohan Das Karamchand Gandhi even said why wait for 15th August why not today. Nagas have even right to be independent. Let me not compare with large countries but indicate about Vatican City. We know Vatican City is a notion with a mere area of 44 Sq. Km (Above sea level). Its population is around 10,000 only. For its National defence it has armed force with a strength of 1000. Yet it is a nation with a post of Prime Minister. (Ato Kilonser). Another example, East Timor was under the imperialistic rule of Indonesia. But since they had their right even if their army strength was around 700 and only around 400 arms with insufficient ammunitions. But they too got independence as we have all heard about it. What did Indonesia lose by giving independence to east Timor? But we have heard of packages granted to Indonesia by some countries, or as if we don't have rights. This is because Nagas do not know English meaning properly. Nagas doesn't seem to clearly understand the meaning of Ceasefire, Reconciliation, Solution and Unity. Nagas are not standing for anything apart from Sovereignty, Independent nation. We are not for reconciliation and subsequent solution with a solution with India or Burma in the form of surrender; we cannot be under their constitution, or any imperial rule. Whenever it be Nagas will always have our own constitution (Yehzabo).
