UK SCHOOL TO ORGANIZE CHARITY SHOW FOR MYANMAR

A British education institution is preparing to organize a
fund-raising music concert for schools in Myanmar, local newspaper
7Day News reported.


The Wilshire-based Royal Bassett Academy will organize the charity
show for school kids in one of Southeast Asia's poorest countries.


The concert will feature Jool Holland performances and appearance of
Blues, Country, Rock, Americana, Soul, Reggae, Gospel and Folks music
artists on September 28 evening.


Students from the school are working in cooperation with Stand by Me
charity group to build a school in Myanmar's northeastern town Tamu.


The proceed will go to charity for the construction of the school
Currently, the group has collected £2,000 and targeted to collect
£15,000, according to organizers.
