Myanmar will reach USD 15 billion in capitals by 2020 as multinational
corporations have flocked into the Southeast Asian country, according
to the International Business Times.

"Every sector in Myanmar will grow. Some local companies are now the
targets for takeovers," Alisher Ali, managing partner of Silk Road
Management and founder of Silk Road Finance, is quoted as saying by
IBT.

His company is planning to invest in Myanmar, according to Eleven Myanmar.

"Businesses from energy to food and beverages and property are the
backbone of the economy," he added.

The country will integrate into other ASEAN nations in ASEAN Economic
Community in 2015.

Its market capitalization, even if it reaches the estimated level,
would still need to catch up with its more developed neighbours.
