Korean Film Festival 2013 was launched in Traders Hotel in downtown
Yangon on Thursday evening, according to the local newspaper Myanma
Alinn report.
The festival was organized by South Korean Embassy in Myanmar and
supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, CJ and
Korean Film Council of South Korea.
It is aimed at promoting friendship between Myanmar and South Korea,
according to the report.
Famous K-Pop band Shinhwa's member Kim Dong Wan attended the opening
ceremony of the film festival.
Korean films Woochi, The Client, The Show Must Go On and Arahan
Jangpung Daejakjeon will be screened at the festival at Thammada
Cinema.
The festival will be run through October 27.
