A Myanma Airways aircraft boarding passengers made emergency landing
at Dawei Airport due to an engine problems on October 18 and is still
awaiting the repair at the airport, according to the Voice report.

The state-flag carrier's Embraer 190 was on its Kawthoung-Myeik-Dawei
route when it reported the error to the Dawei airport and requested
the landing.

The airline arranged a new airplane for passengers the next day as the
plane canceled its schedules.

The report suggests the bird strike could be the cause of the engine error.

The Myanma Airways did not answer the phone calls for the details on
the incidents on October 23, says the report.

Embraer aircrafts are supplied by a Brazilian airplane maker and the
newest assets of the Myanma Airways.
