International Civil Aviation Organization has made an inspection tour into Myanmar's civil aviation industry, the Yangon Times reported, citing Civil Aviation Department.
The inspection team will inspect safety measures of aircrafts under the Civil Aviation Department as from the first week of November.
Airlines in Myanmar have poor safety records with a series of emergency landings and crashes over a few recent years.
The team would observe the Myanmar aviation market and would help the airlines develop.
The ICAO has once inspected the safety records, performance of pilots and certificates of airlines in 2010, according to Win Swe Tun, deputy director of the department said.
They would discuss the technical aids for safety measures and pilot training centres.
