MYANMAR, UNICEF HOLD MID TERM REVIEW

Myanmar and UNICEF jointly held Mid Term Review meeting for Country
Programme Action Plan (CPAP) for 2011-2015 in Nay Pyi Taw Monday,
according to the state-owned Myanma Alinn newspaper.

The meeting is aimed at reviewing challenges along the project and
laying down plans for remaining period of the project.

It focused on working closely with partner organizers and providing
development works effectively to the people.

It was attended by minister for national planning and economic
development Dr Kan Zaw and UNICEF East Asia and Pacific Director
Daniel Toole and UNICEF resident representative in Myanmar Betrand
Bainvel.

The UNICEF is working for vulnerable population in Myanmar and for
narrowing the gap between the rural and urban areas.
