Leaked documents expose Burma's 'crimes against humanity'



Leaked secret documents have exposed for the first time the Burmese
Government's role in persecuting the country's Rohingya Muslims, according
to a new report which accuses the authorities of crimes against humanity.



The dozen confidential memos set out tight restrictions on Rohingya people,
including the right to travel, marry, worship freely, and even to grow
beards. They confirm the policy, denied by the Government, of limiting
Rohingya couples, but not members of Burma's other ethnic groups, in the
number of children they may have.
