Yangon's first-ever stock market in more than five decades will come
to life in October 2015 as the government passed Securities Exchange
Law in September 2014, according to International Business Times
report.

Japan's Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) and Daiwa Securities Group will
undertake the first Myanmar stock exchange, according to the report.
Daiwa, in partnership with the state-owned Myanmar Economic Bank, had
established the Myanmar Securities Exchange Centre (MSEC).

The centre did not come to action as it only traded stocks in only two
companies, according to the report.

The new stock exchange will be established with the estimated amount
of investment of USD 32 million, according to the report.
