The funeral of Hanthawadi U Win Tin, was held at the Yay Way Cemetery in Yangon on April 23, 2013. U Win Tin, 85, who served nearly 20 years in prison and the country's longest-serving political prisoner after challenging the military rule by co-founding the National League for Democracy (NLD), died on April 21, 2014.
