Eleven Media Group is expanding its printing capacity to produce its Daily Eleven newspaper by installing a second Web offset printer.
The new machine, when combined with the existing printer, raises Eleven Media printing capacity to 250,000 32-page newspapers per day.
Machinists from Ronald Web Offset of India are installing the printer.
Eleven Media plans to print the Daily Eleven Newspaper with the new machine.
"The new Ronald machine can print 30,000 newspapers of 24 colour pages per hour and our Mono Unit machine is now being expanded to print 32-page newspapers," said Zaw Min Than, Eleven Media's offset printing manager. He said that another printer would be used to print 40-page newspapers.
EMG is installing a computer-to-plate system to allow pages that have been designed to be sent to a printing plate from the computers they are designed on.
