French embassy offers peek at cartoon diplomacy

A cartoon exhibition and seminar at the French Embassy later this month will show works by Myanmar and French cartoonists as well as a discussion about the art form's status in both countries, an official with the embassy's culture department said.
War War Tin, the department's secretary, said two cartoonists from France would participate but the number of Myanmar cartoonists had not been finalized yet for the three-day exhibit beginning on April 24.
The exhibition and seminar are free, but registration is required for the latter.
