MALAYSIA EYES MYANMAR’S PALM OIL COOPERATION

Malaysian Palm Oil Council organized a Myanmar-Malaysia Palm Oil Trade Fair and Seminar at Traders Hotel in Yangon Friday, the local paper Golden Fresh Land reported.


The seminar was attended by Malaysian agriculture and commodity minister Dato Sri Douglas Uggah Embas and officials of Malaysian palm oil committee and board.


The Malaysian minister said the country is committed to invest in Myanmar's palm oil sector.



Myanmar has a largest palm oil plantations in Kayin and Mon states and Taninthayi region in the southern part of the country.
