Myanmar collected 123 Myanmar nationals back from Port Blair prison of India, 7Day reported.

They were imprisoned for illegally engaging in fishery in the India's naval territory and all had served their prison terms.

Some of them were believed to be stranded there after Cyclone Mahasen in the previous month.

Some of the prisoners could not make their return and stayed one or two years there after serving the prison terms as there was no one to getting them back home.

The flight was provided by Myanmar tycoon Aung Ko Win who owns Kanbawza consortium under which airline, banks and insurance firm are operated.

There are still prisoners in the Indian jail who were imprisoned with the same charges. Myanmar's request to grant them amnesty or commute their sentences was rejected, according to Win Kyaing, general secretary of Myanmar Fisheries Federation.
