Yoma Strategic Holdings, one of the biggest infrastructural developers
operating in Myanmar, has teamed up with Mitsubishi Corporation of
Japan for a landmark construction project at the heart of Yagon.
The Yoma Strategic Holdings signed a Memorandum of Understanding with
Mitsubishi for the project in Bogyoke Aung San street in the
commercial city of Myanmar.
The Singapore-based firm is working in cooperation with SPA, FMI and
an estate outlet of Mitsubishi.
The project would include apartments, retail centres, hotels and service centres.
The company would open Pennisula Yangon Hotel at the former Railway
Office building.
The joint venture between Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels Ltd and Yoma
Strategic Holdings is working on the old building at the corner of
Sule Pagoda street and Bogyoke Aung San street.
