Ye Min Oo sued again for instigating religious violence

Ye Min Oo of Rakhine Youth Association was again sued for instigating religious violence at Thakayta Township Court, Yangon Region.
He went on trial on April 22.
On the same day, he was also brought to trial at Bahan Township Court as he was arrested for instigating religious violence.
He had also another appointment of court at Kyauktada Township Court, advocate Kyaw Hoe, who is a defence lawyer of Ye Min Oo said.
"Ye Min Oo was charged with the instigation to the public on December 8, 2012. When I asked the authorities, they failed show any witnesses to the accuse. The authorities' witnesses are police officers, government servants and administrators at ward and township levels.
Evidences of Ye Min Oo instigated the crowd have been gathered as to the religious conflict happened in Thakayta Township. For that reason, he was charged with the instigation to the public. He will face the further trial on May 6, an official who asked not to be named of Bureau of Special Investigation told Eleven Media on April 22.
Ye Min Oo, who is a member of committee for organizing students league, was brought by an unknown group on March 25. His family lodged a complaint that Ye Min Oo was absent at Bahan Township Police Station on April 27.
Bahan Township Police Station on April 1 replied to the family of Ye Min Oo that he had been arrested and charged with instigating to religious violence.
