Yangon Region Women's Affairs Organization, the semi-official women's empowerment group formed with spouses of government officials, will organize a traditional fashion show in National Theatre in Yangon on 29-30 June, local semi-official TV network MRTV-4 reported.
Tickets for the show in commemoration of the self-celebrated Myanmar Women's Day which falls on 3 July are available at the National Theatre, Dagon Centre, Yankin Centre, Junction Square, Junction Mawtin and Tawwin Centre.
A host of celebrities including movie stars, singers and models will feature the event.
The entire country has yet to agree on the designation of the day designed by former military junta.
The show will be aired on a free channel of MRTV-4, which has the largest pay TV network in Myanmar.
