Thailand's entertainment giant BEC-Tero is planning to establish its
studios in Myanmar's commercial city Yangon, according to The Nation
report.
It has partnered up with local broadcaster Forever Media Group in
producing a number of reality shows and TV series.
It has a joint venture with Forever Media Group and is working for
Channel 7 and MRTV-4 free to air channels.
Most of its programmes which include the most famous singing contest
"Where Dreams Meet" and drama series "Flowers and Butterflies" are one
of the most watched TV programmes in Myanmar.
The company would use Yangon as its second base for entertainment and
sports businesses within two years in which ASEAN Economic Community
takes shape.
