Green Economy Green Growth, an environmental workshop initiated two
years ago, will hold its third workshop in Nay Pyi Taw on November 20,
according to the Voice report.
The third workshop of Green Economy Green Growth will focus on
accessibility of safe drinking water and food security and safety,
chairman Thein Tun said in the press briefing held in Tun Foundation
Bank office on November 12.
The workshop will last three days through November 22.
The organizers expected the attendance of local and international
researchers, environmentalists and departmental personnel.
Award winners in environmental cartoon, photo and design contests
would be awarded.
The Green Economy Green Growth was formed on April 7, 2011.
The first workshop was attended by Nobel laureate parliamentarian Aung
San Suu Kyi and the second workshop was attended by vice-president Dr
Sai Mauk Kham.
