ITALY, LUXEMBOURG OFFER TECHNICAL AIDS TO IMPLEMENT TOURISM MASTER PLAN

Italy and Luxembourg have offered technical aids to Myanmar to
implement the tourism master plan, according to Eleven Myanmar report.
The master plan was developed last year with the support of Norway and
the Asia Development Bank.


Italy and Luxembourg will provide aids to develop human resources for
a part of the project, reported Eleven Myanmar, citing official
sources from the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.


They have vowed to cooperate with Myanmar in implementing the master
plan aimed at developing tourism sector of the country from 2013 to
2015.


The project which would take seven years to complete is estimated to
cost some USD 500 million.


Norway and ADB will also provide the financial aids for the project.
