BC TO PROVIDE ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES TO MYANMAR TEACHERS

Myanmar government has signed an MoU with British Council for English
language courses for teachers of the country's Education Colleges, The
Voice reported.



According to education minister Dr Khin San Yi, the British Council
agreed to deploy 50 teachers for two years to teach English to the
teachers of the colleges.



The MoU signing ceremony between the British Council and the Education
Ministry was held at Thingaha Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw on March 28.



The native speakers from British Council will provide the training at
the National Centre for English Language for teachers from two
education universities ad 19 education colleges from September 2014 to
Augsut 2016.



According to the MoU, the British Council will have a chance to
provide English language training in any area of the country.
