2013 Myanmar Business Plan Contest to be held in Yangon

The third Myanmar Business Plan Contest 2013 will be held in Yangon, according to the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UMFFCCI).
"We aim for educated youths and those who are working to become successful businessmen and to nurture the youths to create the new ideas," said an official from UMFFCCI.
The event is jointly organised between Myanmar and the Cambodia International Education Support Foundation(CIESF), a Japanese-funded NGO.
CIESF works at improving human resources in Cambodia through education training, encouraging young entrepreneurs, and supporting agricultural development.
The contest has three phases. The participants will send a rough Business Plan for the first phase. The second phase includes a presentation by 10 groups and only five will make it to the final contest.
The winner of the first stage will get USD$ USD$1000 and the second stage wins USD$ 2000. The winners will attend the Mekong Business Challenge 2014 as Myanmar representatives alongside youths from Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and China (Yunnan).
