The World Cup will be put on display in Yangon for three days as the
football world's most prestigious award continues its world tour,
according to a 7Day report.
The football enthusiasts in Myanmar will be handed the chance to
witness the World Cup in person which Myanmar national team never
fought for.
The award is scheduled to arrive in Myanmar on December 25 and will be
showcased in Thuwanna Stadium for three days.
"The FIFA has informed Myanmar Football Federation of the world cup
exhibition program to Myanmar Football Federation," said an unnamed
official of the Myanmar Football Federation.
The world football governing body is exhibiting the world cup in the
world tour.
Myanmar is included in the tour for the first time.
The world cup will stay in Myanmar for three day and leave Myanmar for
another country on December 28.
The arrival of the world cup would take place three days after
wrapping up the first-ever SEA Games.
