Combined harvesters manufactured by South Korea and Myanmar will be
sold out to farmers by installment, according to the press release by
the Industry Ministry.
The ministry has produced 400 combined harvesters of different horse
powers in cooperation with the South Korea.
The combined harvesters could minimize the wastage of paddy in the
harvest and improve the quality of paddy, Naing Win, an official of
Mechanized Farming Department, told 7Day newspaper.
The ministry said it would provide the after sale services for farmers
who bought the tools.
The machines' horse powers range from 75 hp to 85 hp.
The ministry official declined to go detail into the pre-requirements
for sale of the machines.
